As I told you in my introduction also that I am a big fan of the home decorations here is the list of two main magazines that I follow.
These two magazines I have subscribed and I must say these are the ones that are responsible for me actively working on getting an interior decoration degree.
The designs that I saw for the home and the kitchens were so beautiful that I wanted to know how people designed them and how they decided on the designs.
Bill has been very encouraging towards it and now I am almost half way through with the interior deco course. Of course with Rebecca I had to drop one full session.
They teach you all bout the basic home building stuff as well as all about the construction material as well as everything about the various things and materials and how to view them in the overall décor of the house.
We have been two training session with expert interior decoration designers and I have contributed something to the effort.. I must say that it looks wonderful when something you have in mind is decorating someone’s home and they love it.
I am of course waiting for that day when I will be able to have a full assignment for myself and my designs are accepted. It is lot of hard work but I am up for it.
Hopefully when I complete the course I will either up my own boutique firm or I will join some good designer as an apprentice so as to gain some experience in the real world rather than striking it on my own.

A Big Statue
As I told you earlier also that I am big fan of interiors home decorations and to the growing list of changes that I keep on doing I added something which is quite common in the Asian cultures and that is the laughing Buddha and it has nice copper shine to it.
In fact to tell you the truth I bought two one for this apartment and then one a bigger one which will go in the main area the lobby or the living room along with a lot of other special stuff that I am hoping I will be able to buy when we move in to our new house.

A home to die for
We have been living an in two bedroom apartment for long now after marriage that is about three years but now we have started the search for a home. We want Rebecca to have a life outside the four walls of the apartment.
We are looking at houses which are absolutely in the middle class neighborhood and they also do not have so much of price tag on them.
The good part is that we have saved enough cash for us to give a large enough down payment and then a have a lower mortgage.
Funny thing searching for houses that when we look for the house my husband Bill always looks for the nice garden and a nice outdoor place with a good driveway as well as some good place to have a grill.
My first thing to look is the kitchen and then the living room and the dining room. Talk about different set of priorities It will be tough to have all the desires about a dream home come together I in one shot.
But by experience of now of looking at over 20 odd houses. I can say that if the exterior of the house is good then most of the time the interior of the house will be good also.
I believe that it is the energy and the taste of the previous owner that tells how much they loved the house.
I am looking for something in which the kitchen has a nice granite countertop and a nice water fountain inside the house.

Shoes I love
I have say bout 30 odd pair of shoes. Ask my husband he has now stopped counting and there have been countless disagreements but I have managed to hold sway and he has been kind enough to let me buy.
Other family
On my side of the family I have parents who live in Kentucky and I have a brother Andy who is working hard to civil engineer and wants to work in the home construction business. In fact he has wanted to open his home business or rather home cleaning and home renovation services business since the time he was 21 but then it seems I had my way and told him to shut up and do the engineering course.
Being older has its benefits!! Ask my brother he always says that.
